This color block coat from Dezzal is a fun way to add color to your winter wardrobe. I wouldn’t say that this would keep you warm enough in a NYC winter but for milder months and places that don’t get as cold as it does here, this color block coat would be a perfect option. I love the pink and cobalt lapel and pockets but of course my long hair is covering the pink lapels in almost every photo. You may remember the red lace dress I recently posted which was my second piece from Dezzal. I did much better the second time around and I think it’s because I ignored the size numbers and paid close attention to the actual measurements.
If you’re looking for color in your winter coat, I’ve been loving the colorful fur hood and lining trend this winter! Our wardrobes often tend to turn darker in the winter, but I personally enjoy wearing color year round. I just find that wearing color tends to be a mood booster. It gets dark by 4PM which is already depressing on its own, so I personally enjoy adding lightness and color to my clothes to counteract that. Some of the colorful fur coats I’ve been loving are the the Mini Hudson Parka and Jocelyn coats. They’re not crazy in-your-face color but still so much more fun than another black coat.
Also, I met with some of the photography team at Snapped last week; a photography service that delivers your edited photos to you just hours after your photoshoot. I literally received these photos within the hour and had a ton of great shots to choose from. I had so much fun shooting with them in the Meatpacking District, even though it was freezing that day! They’re a great option if you’re looking for photos for any upcoming occasion.
