Navy Blue Ruffle Dress and Life Update

navy blue ruffle dress Wow you guys, Friday cannot come soon enough! I started a new job last week and I’ve been very, very sleep deprived. I’m a school counselor so it only goes until mid June but I have to say that it’s been a big transition; one that I’m still in the midst of. I also got sick two days in so the exhaustion is on a whole other level.

I also have a couple of other part-time job options pending and if you guys are interested, I’ll share more about them when things are more definite. I will say that they make me really, really excited and hopeful. It’s been a really difficult year career wise but I’m working hard to stay positive and hoping things will turn around for me. In an ideal world, we should all have careers we feel good about and I’m hoping to find that for me really soon. I will continue to post twice a week and not three times a week – at least until July – and I will reevaluate in July about increasing the posts again.

On another note, let’s talk about this Teri Jon navy blue ruffle dress! I thought the ruffle shoulder detail was the cutest and of course I loved the navy lace. I paired the dress with my Sam Edelman hazel pumps which I’ve been loving. I’m not sure how I managed to go from really wanting these suede pink heels to realizing I have about 6 or 7 pairs of pink pumps. I literally have no idea how that happened! But I find these to be really, really comfortable. The only issue is I wish I would’ve went down half a size because I find them to run slightly big so I’m kind of bummed about that. But don’t worry, I’m still wearing them anyway! 😉

These pumps were last seen here.
