It’s been a long time since I visited this colorful ombre wall in Dumbo (first visit here, second visit here) so I figured another visit was definitely in order with this nude ruffle dress. It’s an old BCBG dress so I’m sorry that I don’t have any links for it but I’ll share some pretty nude dresses in the slideshow at the bottom of the post. I’m usually good at making instant decisions about whether I’ll like a dress when I see it on a hanger but this time I was proved really wrong. I hated the dress when my friend showed it to me and I refused to try it on. After she insisted, I decided to do her a favor (ha, I’m so generous, especially being that it’s her dress) and absolutely loved it once it was on. And then I temporarily stole it from her of course. I also had to steal these Louboutin slingback pumps from my friend as well and I’m pretty sure no explanation as to why is necessary. Like most Louboutins, they’re beautiful to look at and painful to wear. Even with the platform, they’re still uncomfortable. If my budget ever magically grew and I was able to buy designer shoes, Louboutins would not be on my list for that reason but major major kudos to those of you out there that have no problems wearing them! Actually, I think the next shoe purchase I want to make would be SJP shoes. I keep checking eBay and hopefully I’ll find the pair I’m looking for one day (fawn satin high heel pumps)! What’s on your shoe wish list? I’d also love Chanel ballet flats and heels, nude Valentino rockstuds (like what I borrowed here), Marni shoes, and Miu Miu… I can probably go on and on for a while haha!
Another look at my DVF minaudiere I scored at the recent sample sale. I’m all about the rose gold!
