4 Travel Style Tips + Marble Suitcase

I know that so many of us enjoy traveling and personally, I wish I had the opportunity to travel more but I am grateful for the times when I am able to make it happen! This photo is from my trip to Los Angeles in April which is on the blog here and here. And today I thought I’d share some travel style tips with you guys that I’ve learned along the way.

  •  Wear something comfortable. If you’re sitting on a long flight, you will probably not feel great in a restricted blazer and a pencil skirt. I look for loose, flowy clothes and comfortable shoes when I’m traveling. One of my go-to styles for the airport is a t-shirt dress, leggings, and slip on sneakers like these or cute flats like these adorable espadrilles.
  • A distinguishable suitcase will make your life a lot easier. I’m not saying that you need my marble suitcase in your life (although you probably do) but it’s always harder to find your black suitcase in a sea of a million other black suitcases (get my marble suitcase set here). Yes, I am completely obsessed with my marble suitcase set but just getting a different color or print will make it easier for you to find your luggage.
  • Dress in layers. Even if it’s warm, you might be uncomfortable with the air conditioning or maybe you’re traveling somewhere with very different weather. It’s always a good idea to have a cardigan or sweater with you.
  • Bring a pair of socks in your bag. Ok, maybe this is just a personal thing but since I only wear socks/tights in the winter, I usually end up barefoot when taking my shoes off for security. I find it really gross and prefer not to pick up someone’s fungus so I always make sure to bring a pair of socks that I put on just for going through security. Does anyone else do that or is it just me??
