I’ve been struggling with body image more so than usual these last few months. I work hard not to let it hold me back from fully living my life and I use these body image improvement tips all the time. However, the reality is that it’s hard living in a curvier body in our society and lately it’s been a struggle to feel confident in my skin. I really try not to let comments from strangers on the internet impact my self worth but some days are harder than others. If any of you have experienced internet trolls, I’d love to hear what you do to shrug those comments off.
When looking back on my blog posts from 3 years ago, I realize that I’ve been less adventurous with my style in a lot of ways. Something as silly as wearing a two piece outfit instead of a dress is a challenge for me. So I will work on trying to push myself to wear two piece looks at least 2-3 times this fall and winter. Plus, you guys are asking for it so I will do my best!
But I did stumble across this floral embroidered dress recently and when I tried it on, I felt really confident and comfortable for the first time in a long time. I went back the next day to get it and have already worn it to my cousin’s engagement party and on repeat during the recent holidays. It’s sold out in regular sizes unfortunately (full stocked in petite though) but I’ll link to it below in case they restock- fingers crossed!
Floral Embroidered Dress: floral embroidered shift dress or fully stocked petite floral embroidered shift dress c/o (more options in slide below) Shoes: hazel pointy toe pump Bag: similar red leather heart cross body bag
