Blue Velvet Dress and Chanel Boy Bag

blue velvet dress Any version of teal, aqua,or turquoise is my favorite color but I can’t seem to find dresses I like in those shades. When I saw my baby sister’s dress in the most perfect teal velvet shade (seen here) I was even more determined to find one for myself.

Well, I saw this blue velvet dress on Asos and was so excited- it was a comfortable, swing fit and was the prettiest blue crushed velvet. Sadly, I returned this the same day I wore it because my photographer pointed out that I was leaving a trail of blue fluff behind me. It was so weird! The dress was shedding and it was pretty embarrassing so I’ve sent it back.

This blue velvet dress is currently on sale for only $22 and if you try it, let me know if you have better luck with it! I love this dress but I don’t particularly enjoy shedding. 😉 So my hunt for the perfect blue dress will have to continue! Maybe I’ll find something for spring.
chanel boy bag This Chanel boy bag is the latest bag I’ve borrowed from my friend’s closet (some of my favorites I’ve borrowed in the past include her Gucci Marmont shoulder bag, her Gucci dionysus and her Chloe hudson) and I’ve been loving it! It’s such a nice size and the metallic gray is practically a neutral. I hope to own a medium sized Chanel flap bag one day but this is even better! Because I’m short I can get away with wearing this crossbody and I’m all about the crossbody life.

I also borrowed/traded her metallic Stuart Weitzman boots and I am obsessed. I own them in a suede burgundy but these get constant compliments every time I wear them. They don’t seem as durable as the suede ones but they are so beautiful and comfortable!stuart weitzman 5050 long sleeve velvet dress chanel boy bag gray velvet swing dress
