I was waiting for what seemed like all of eternity for this dress to go on sale and woohoo- it finally happened! This burnt orange ruffle dress was borrowed from my friend but I bought the same dress in a cute black and tan heart print print instead when it went from $168 to $40. I love the fun ruffles but orange is just not a color I gravitate toward. A heart print though? Yes please! You’ll see it on the blog within the next week or two but unfortunately I think that one is sold out.
It comes in a black eyelet that is still pretty much fully stocked. It’s also seriously discounted and I think it’ll go with everything and will easily transition into spring. Not that we’re thinking about spring these days with bomb cyclones and all (ha!) but I always love finding dresses that work for multiple seasons! I’m pairing it with tights now and will wear it with flats in the spring and ankle boots in fall. It runs pretty generously so I’d recommend sizing down. Coffee breaks are a necessity when shooting these days; for defrosting and changing outfits of course. I always question my sanity during winter shoots but I’m all about outdoor lighting. My hands are so red here but it just can’t be helped! I’m wearing my beautiful Brooklyn Designs jewelry (last seen on the blog here and here). I’ve been drinking more coffee than usual lately (anyone else??) but I’m enjoying every bit of it. I’ll probably lighten up on my lattes when the weather starts warming up.
