At the end of the day, I really am a girly girl. I debated making this look a bit more casual with a denim jacket but decided instead that it was totally acceptable to pair pink with purple and embrace my girliness! So Happy (almost) Galentine’s Day to my favorite girlfriends; this post is dedicated to you!
And we are all going to ignore the fact that there was snow on the ground and it was about 15 degrees out when I shot this spring look. Anyone else ready for spring? #wishfulthinking 😉 And these lavender Sol Sana sandals are everything!

I don’t often have luck at sample sales. Mainly it’s because I end up buying something because omg it’s such a good deal… and I never end up wearing it. It’s easy to get swept up into the whole sale frenzy and then you get home and realize the bag you bought is too small for you or the dress just doesn’t fit right. But I’ve gotten better at sample sale shopping and found some beautiful pieces at the Shoshanna sample sale a couple of months ago. This dress was an actual sample and not an overstock so I was excited that it fit perfectly and the shades of blue are so gorgeous!
This H.M. Willow tassel necklace is beautiful and well priced. Haley just keeps coming out with more and more unique jewels; just when I think they can’t get more gorgeous, she designs another beautiful piece! (I’ve worn her jewelry with my polka dot tulle, beaded scalloped dress, and graphic tee.) This necklace came just a couple days after I bought this dress and I knew I need to pair the two together. Make sure to disable your ad block if you want to see some beautiful blue dress options at the bottom of the post.
And here are some more photos taken over the last year. I stepped out of my comfort zone here and there but I think my style has pretty much been consistent over the year! What do you think? The one thing that did change was that I started wearing heels a whole lot more often. Before I started my blog, I wore flats 99.9% of the time and now I wear flats 80% of the time and my heel collection has grown… a lot. 🙂 But other than that, I’m still girly, colorful, but classic- I think! Ha, it’s hard for me to know how to define my personal style. But here it is in a series of photos. 🙂
I wasn’t planning on doing a recap post of 2014 but I’m glad I decided to because I found the process really uplifting. It’s been a rough few months for me, so taking a few moments to reflect on the past year and remember the wonderful memories was nice. Here’s part one of just some of my favorite looks over the year. Hope you enjoy!
