In my defense, some of these are giveaway wins and all of these were on major sale! Let me elaborate;)
Soooo….we’ll start from the lace Madewell top that I’ve been crushing on since I saw it in the Spring preview lookbook a while ago…And then I was in Madewell the other day and had a store credit…AND it was on sale with an additional 20% off, so I got it for more than half the original price. Next we have the floral shoes, that I’ve posted in my “What I Want Wednesday” posts…and I got it on sale with additional 20% off too! Next up, Forever 21 neon top-I had a store credit so I picked it up. Then we have the yellow Banana Republic sweater skirt. I had a gift card to Banana and it was on sale. Then we have the Old Navy heart sweater-on sale for $10 (and in petite!). Do I need to say more? 😉 Then, the mint heels-I won them on a blog giveaway! It was so exciting! I was debating between these or black D’Orsay flats and I figured I should go with the heels because while I have a ridiculous amount of flats, I am lacking in the heels department and I figured these are small heels and they’re MINT, so yeah-I chose these for the win! And lastly, the vintage Coach Willis bag. I sold a Rebecca Minkoff bag on Poshmark (check out my closet here) because I wanted to buy a classic black bag (yeah, I have every color in the rainbow but not black!) but wanted to wait until I sold something first. So I picked this up on Ebay for about $70. So there you have it- recent acquisitions:)

Hello my dear readers! So, I’m not sure if y’all knew this, but I kind of have a thing for polka dots. 🙂 I was in Madewell today and tried on an adorable chambray polka dot shirt and while it wasn’t outrageously expensive, I wanted something a bit cheaper. And I thought I’d show you lovelies some ways to incorporate polka dots into your wardrobe in a super cheap way!

Work is starting to become a bit more overwhelming so I’ve been coming home pretty drained but I know beginnings can be rough so I’m still working on settling in! Anyway, enough about that and onto a conversation a bit more fun:) Florals! So unless if you’ve been living in a cave, you’ve probably noticed how bold floral prints are being shown everywhere for Spring! For those of you that want to do it in small doses, a pair of floral flats or a floral print bag might be the perfect way to incorporate florals into your Spring wardrobe. If you’re daring, try mixing prints-florals and stripes are an example of a fun print mix! How do you feel about floral or prints in general?
I had a friend’s wedding recently and debated wearing heels for about….a minute. And then I decided I wanted to be able to really dance (ok, I don’t dance but still) so I chose a pair of pointy sparkly flats instead. And I got this dress on sale for $40 from $178 which felt soooo good! 😉
My darling friend and hair stylist Sorah Yaffa (click her name for more info) decided on doing a fun braided twist with soft waves. What do you all think?
Oh, and please excuse the goofy smile in the second pic.
